• Log in to your account on the VUP website • Go to my tournaments through my profile page or the drop-down menu on the top right. • Select the match for the tournament • Select ‘Matches’ • Select Check-in You will then be taken to the Match Page
Once checked in, you will find the match chat icon represented by a small speech bubble. Here you can communicate with your opposition. The home team, who is creating the match, will place the tournament name and password here. You can find a picture of the match page at the bottom of the document.
To send a friend request in Rocket League, open the Friends List and select “Add Epic Friend”. Type in your friend’s Epic ID, which can be found below their username at the top of the Friends List window. To accept a friend request Open the Friends List, select the Notifications tab, and then select the green check mark. To quickly convert your platform friends to Epic Friends, go to Settings, select Interface, and then check the “Convert Platform Friends” box.
The home team will create the match. Make sure you and your teammates are in a squad. Select “Play” on the Main Menu, navigate to “Custom Games”, select “Private Match”, and then select “Create Private Match”. Enter all the settings of the custom match found in the Ruleset section of the tournament page and enter the lobby/match name and password. Send the lobby name and password to your opponent via the match chat function on the Victory Up platform.
Once you have received the match’s name and password via chat, make sure you and your team are in a squad. The squad leader will then select “Play” on the Main Menu, navigate to “Private Matches”, and then select “Join Private Match”. Enter the lobby/match name and password to join the match.
Teams must take a screenshot or photo, at a minimum, of the result and upload this to the Victory Up platform. You can do this by: • Log in to Victory Up • Select My Tournaments from the menu or profile page • Select the match • Select Win or Lose and then select Upload Screenshot • Then select Submit Results. Teams are asked to update results between rounds of the best of 3.
At times, a team may need to contact Admin. You can contact the admin to resolve disputes in the match, help to create or join a match, or any other type of help needed on match day. If it is not a match day and you wish to contact the Tournament admin, please send an email as match chat may not be active at the time. In the case of a team needing to contact Admin, they can do so using the following means: • Type @Admin in the Match Chat on the Victory Up platform. • Email [email protected]
